About Me

 

Shawna here. My parents got my name from the game show The Price is Price Is Right. I'd like to think that the woman I was named after was a rad gal with vintage flare and a solid Plinko player. In reality... no one remembers anything about her other than the fact that she had a spunky name.

 

I am a twenty-something with a zest for all things vintage. As the head curator of Miss Mod all items are hand-picked by me. I thrive for the hunt of a wicked piece at a great price so I can offer fellow vintage lovers the same exciting hunt. Items are thoughtfully collected and displayed at 6 Clarence St. - that means the grueling dumpster diving and combing through racks of gnarly clothes has been done for you. On that note: I do ensure all of my pieces are clean and in good shape before putting them out.

 

I do not think it was a coincidence that my name was inspired from The Price is Right as that is the mantra I march to and will continue to project onto those who shop Miss Mod.

 

Last, but most importantly, if I am not thrifting, I am thinking about thrifting and that is a fact.
